Mangaluru: CCB Cops arrest Nigerian drug peddler; seize cocaine

Mangaluru, December 18, 2024: CCB Police have arrested a Nigerian on the charges of drugs peddling. He was reportedly procuring Cocaine from Goa and selling the same to other drug peddlers in Mangaluru. Police have seized 30 grams cocaine from him.
The arrested man is Michael Okafar Odikpo (44). The arrests followed the interrogation of two men earlier arrested by the CCB police in March 2024 at Eliyarapadavu in Amblamogaru of Ullal. The two namely Sadakath Shan Nawaz and Ashfaq were found in possession of Cocaine worth Rs 2.72 lakhs and during questioning had revealed that they had purchased the cocaine from Goa. Acting on the information the police arrested the Nigerian from Colangute in North Goa.
Police seized two mobile phones, a car, cash of Rs 4500 and digital weighing machine from the arrested man.
