Mangaluru: CCB cops arrest 3 drug peddlers; seize MDMA

Mangaluru, April 12, 2025: CCB police have arrested three drug peddlers who were selling the banned MDMA drug near Suratkal. Police seized 10 grams MDMA from the trio.

Those arrested are Asif (24) from Krishnapura, Asgar Ali (31) of Mukka and  Rasheem (24) of Haleyangady.

They had reportedly procured the drugs from Bengaluru via parcel through a private bus and were selling the same to the public and students. The CCB police who acted on a tip off, arrested the three.

The value of the seized MDMA is Rs One lakh. Police also seized cash of Rs 4000, four mobile phones and a car from the accused.
