Mangaluru, February 13, 2025: IT officials have raided four pan masala, gutka and supari trading company offices in Mangaluru. The raids have taken place on the offices, godowns and residences of company owners.
It has been learnt that the officials have seized cash worth several crores of rupees apart from unaccounted gold.
The raids were conducted on Swastik Trading Company, Naresh & Co, Shiva Prem Traders and Parameshwari Trading company. The raid was conducted following alleged tax evasion by the companies which had dealings in several north Indian states too.
