Mangaluru, January 8, 2025: A hostel building constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crores for students of Karnataka Polytechnic in Mangaluru, was inaugurated on Tuesday by State Higher Education Minister Dr. M C Sudhaker.
The hostel with 24 rooms can accommodate 100 students. The hostel has been constructed to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Polytechnic.
On this occasion, the minister laid the foundation for Amritha Mahotsav Bhavan of the Polytechnic, which will come up at a cost of Rs 3 crores.
Earlier in the day, the minister inaugurated the 45th state level inter-polytechnic sports meet. MLC Manjunath Bhandary, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Dr Bharath Shetty and others were present.
