Mangaluru, Oct 21, 2020: Police Martyrs’ Day was observed at the premises of city Armed Reserve Police Force premises in the city on October 21, Wednesday under the aegis of the Mangaluru City Police Commissionerate and DK District Police.
Western Range IGP Devajyothi Ray who spoke after paying tributes to the police martyrs, hailed the valiant services of the police forces even during adverse times. He said the cops have been rendering yeoman service to the society even during the Covid pandemic by taking all precautionary measures.
City Police Commissioner Vikash Kumar, SP B M Laxmi Prasad, DCP Vinay Gaonkar, Coast Guard Commandant Venkatesh, Home Guards Commandant Murali Mohan Choontaru and others were present.
