Mangaluru : Rahmania mosque at Ullal stoned ; Manjanady vicinity observes bundh

Mangaluru, Nov 15, 2016 : Shops and business establishments in Manjanady and Mongugoli areas have downed shutters on November 15, Tuesday in protest against Monday’s incident wherein a boy was stabbed at Kairangala Lekkisiri by unidentified miscreants.

Buses are off the roads in the area. Protestors who are on the streets have also placed stones on the middle of the roads to obstruct vehicular traffic.

Meanwhile, on November 14, Monday night miscreants have also stoned the Rahmania Mosque at Ullal. The glass window panes of the mosque have been shattered due to the stoning.

Police have stepped up security in the area.
