Mangaluru: Yet another hoax bomb threat to Mangalore Airport

Mangaluru, December 03, 2024: Mangaluru International Airport has once again received a bomb threat. On November 30, the Airport had received a bomb threat through an email ID by name Akram Vaikar at around 10 am. The message stated that a bomb has been planted in the terminal.
Immediately the CISF personnel on security duty at the airport launched a search and no explosive material was found. A complaint has been lodged in Bajpe police station and investigations are underway.
The email has reportedly demanded dropping of case against a drugs kingpin Jaffer Siddique arrested in Tamil Nadu and also to drop case against Krithiga Udayanidhi, film producer and wife of Tamil Nadu Deputy CM Udayanidhi Stalin. It has also demanded release of TNLA extremist organization chief S Maran who is lodged in Tiruchi Central Jail.
A similar threat message was received by three hotels at Tirupathi on October 25.
