Manipal: Biker arrested for dangerous wheeling stunts

Manipal, January 6, 2025: Police have arrested a 19 year old bike rider who was dangerously performing ‘wheelies’ on the road leading to the DC office on the National Highway at Manipal. The bike also had a pillion rider when the rider was performing dangerous stunts.
The arrested rider is Muhammad Ashiq of Athradi. He had also posted his wheeling act video on social media. After the video went viral on January 4, the Manipal police swung into action and arrested the rider and seized his two-wheeler. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
