Minister Rajanna assures job security to co-operative society employees

Mangaluru, Nov 18, 2023: State Minister for Co-operation K N Rajanna has said that the amendment to the Co-operative Act will benefit in providing job security to the employees of credit co-operative societies and milk co-operative societies of the state. The amendments will come into effect soon, he said while addressing a press meet at the SCDCC Bank auditorium on November 17, Friday.

 

 

 

He said the loan at 0% interest rate offered to farmers in the state has been increased from Rs 3 lakhs to Rs 3 lakhs while the mid-term loan at 3% interest rate has been increased to Rs 15 lakhs.

He said dairy farmers are getting an additional Rs 3 per litre of milk and added that there was no proposal to increase milk prices for consumers.

SCDCC Bank Chairman M N Rajendra Kumar, Director Deviprasad Shetty and others were present.
