Mithun Rai warns black flag demo against BJP leaders targeting a particular community

Mangaluru, Jan 25, 2020: DK District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai has threatened to stage a black flag demonstration against BJP leaders and ministers who continue targeting a particular community over any issue in the future.

Speaking to reporters here on January 25, Saturday, Rai said the BJP ministers and leaders had abused a particular religion no sooner the explosive device was found at Mangaluru Airport on Monday. The leaders have now started giving completely different statements once the accused is now behind bars, he added.

He demanded that the government as well as the Police Department need to clarify on its earlier statement that 10 kg RDX was taken inside the airport. He also demanded apology from the government for the baseless statement.

He said the Congress would defeat the BJP ploy to incite communal feelings in the district.

Corporator A C Vinayraj who also spoke demanded action against BJP leader Renukacharya for stating that arms are stored in mosques.
