Moodbidri: Mother, daughter injured in serial mishap

Moodbidri, November 11, 2024: A woman and her daughter who were riding a two-wheeler sustained serious injuries in a serial mishap at Thodar on Monday. The mishap occurred after a private bus on way to Mangaluru from Moodbidri tried to overtake a college bus in front of the MITE institution and in the process rammed into the two-wheeler which in turn hit an autorickshaw which was in front of it.

While the mother sustained minor injuries, the daughter in the two-wheeler has suffered serious injuries.

The mishap led to a lightning protest by students in the college bus who alleged that the private buses were being driven recklessly resulting in mishaps.

The Moodbidri police who rushed to the spot, tried to pacify the agitating students.
