Moodbidri: Speeding car fatally knocks down student

Moodbidri, September 27, 2024: A ninth standard student who was returning home after exams on Thursday met a tragic end after he was fatally knocked down by a speeding car while crossing the road near Bannadka.
The deceased is Aditya, a student of Jain High School, Moodbidri and son of Ravi of Padumarnadu.
After the exams, Aditya had boarded a bus back home and had alighted at Bannadka. When he was crossing the road, the car hit him and he fell in a drain. Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital by those in the car, his life could not be saved.
