More trouble for ACP Jagannath as ASI Srikala lodges another complaint

Mangalore, May 25, 2013 : There have been two more complaints against ACP (South ) TR Jagannath who is making news ever since Pandeshwar ASI Srikala    accused him of harassing her.

In a second complaint, ASI Srikala has accused the ACP of instigating his sub-ordinate staff to lodge a complaint against her and her husband Sanjay Kumar.
According to the complaint, the ACP who was unsuccessful in his attempt to persuade her to withdraw the first complaint, had got a complaint registered against her and her husband through Mohan, a writer in the department, charging them of running a scheme of doubling the investment made by the public.

Mangalore Police Commissioner who has confirmed the receipt of the complaint while pointing out to Srikala’s argument that she had no confidence of securing justice as the case is being handled by DCP Mutturaya mainly because both the officers are of the same batch, the Commissioner said he has no option as there are only two DCP rank officers in the Commissionerate.
Jeweller lodges complaint: In another complaint, Nazeer who owns Atlas Jewellery in Tokkottu has lodged a complaint with Mangalore Police Commissioner alleging that the ACP had favoured a person who had in fact cheated him after purchasing ornaments from his shop on credit. Nazeer has also charged the ACP of threatening him.
As per the complaint, one Majeed had purchased jewellery worth Rs 5 lakhs and after paying Rs one lakh by cash had given two cheques signed by his wife Maimoona. However, the shop manager Sajeer had lodged a complaint when the cheques bounced.
According to Nazeer, ACP Jagannath who intervened,  had returned the two cheques to Majeed and made arrangements to pay half the amount  stating the remaining amount would be paid after some time.
Nazeer says he had approached the ACP when the balance amount was not received.But, the latter threatened him and also asked him to recover the money if he had the guts, the complaint said.
Nazeer in his complaint has demanded action against Majeed and his wife Maimoona and also against the ACP for abetting them.
