Mangaluru, April 11, 2025: An autorickshaw driver from Kolnad who was reported missing from Mulki Kolnad since Wednesday was found dead in a well in an isolated area at Kunjatturu Padavu on Thursday.

The deceased is Muhammad Sharief (52). It is suspected that he was killed by some drug addicts.

On Wednesday he had left home in his autorickshaw but did not return home. His mobile too was not reachable following which a police complaint was lodged.

The autorickshaw of Sharief was also found near the well where his body was found. Blood stains were also found near the well. It is suspected that some people who had  boarded his autorickshaw might have killed him.

Further investigations are in progress.
