Mulki, February 6, 2025: Thieves who targeted the house of a judge near Koikude near Pakshikere have however decamped the place without any booty as they could not find any valuables.

The burglary attempt took place in the house of Mumtaz, who serves as a judge in Bengaluru. There was no one in the house when the burglars gained entry. They broke the front door locks using a heavy object and ransacked the cupboards in the house but reportedly did not find any valuables.

Attempt theft

The thieves also managed to change the direction of the CCTV camera in the house. Judge Mumtaz visits her house once in 15 days, informed locals. Though valuables were in the house, they were reportedly kept in some other place which the thieves could not find.

Police officials rushed to the place and a dog squad was also pressed into service.
