Mangaluru, October 9, 2024: Police have arrested two persons in connection with the death of businessman B M Mumtaz Ali in a suspected case of suicide.
Those arrested are Rehmath and her husband Shoaib from Suratkal Krishnapura. The two were arrested near Melkar.
It may be recalled here that a complaint was lodged in Kavoor police station against six persons including the two arrested on the charges of instigating Mumtaz Ali to suicide.
Mumtaz Ali who was missing after parking his car near Kuloor bridge on Sunday was later found dead in the river on Monday morning.
