Mangaluru, August 9, 2024: Nagara Panchami is being celebrated across the coastal district on August 9, Friday. Devotees are flocking Nagabanas as well as shrines dedicated to Serpent God and Lord Subrahmanya on this auspicious day to offer prayers and to seek blessings.
Famous temples like Kudupu Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple and Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple are seeing a huge number of devotees who are arriving to offer special prayers on this day. The devotees offer milk, tender coconut, honey, turmeric and flowers to the idols of Naga. At Kudupu temple devotees have been arriving since early morning to offer special pooja at the temple.
