Nagara Panchami celebrations with religious fervour across coast

Mangaluru, Aug 13, 2021: Nagara Panchami is being celebrated today  in a simple way across the district amid the Covid pandemic.  Devotees are seen offering their prayers outside the gates  of the famous shrines including Kudupu Shree Anantha Padmanabha Temple  by offering tender coconuts, flowers etc. In private Nagabanas the  celebrations are also held  by strictly adhering to Covid protocols.

 

The  district administration has already  stated that large gatherings will not be allowed during the festivals in the wake of the rising Covid-19 cases in the district.
