Narendra Singh appointed Executive Director of Corporation Bank

December 08, 2009: Narendra Singh, General Manager of Allahabad Bank has been appointed as Executive Director of Corporation Bank, says a media release issued by the bank.

A Graduate in Science as well as Law, he started his career as directly recruited Officer in Allahabad Bank in 1980. In the year 1985 he was appointed as the Senior Law Officer in Allahabad Bank. He has 30 years of Banking experience, working in various capacities in Allahabad Bank, including in the Fund Management and Accounts Division in the Head Office. Later on, he headed the Bank’s Zonal Office, Mumbai. On his elevation as General Manager he also headed the Delhi Zonal Office.

He has attended training programmes in several banking arenas like Emerging Dimension in General Insurance, Managerial Effectiveness, Management Education Programme etc. He headed the Planning, Development, Marketing, Publicity, Anti Money Laundering & KYC in December 2008 till his elevation to the post of Executive Director. On his appointment by the Government of India, he took charge of as the Executive Director of Corporation Bank on 7th December 2009.
