Mangalore, March 13: Pilikula Nisargadhama Society and Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts Kambla Committee organised Nethravathi-Phalguni Jodukere Kambla on March 13.
The State tourism minister, G Janardan Reddy, inaugurated the Kambala. Nearly 88 pairs of buffalos vied in the Kambala competition.
Adressing the press person today, Reddy said about the promotion of heli tourism in the state and city, which will be the base station, will get three helicopters. He reveled about the sanction of Rs 11 crore for the proposed works, including Rs 3 crore for sports activities and setting up of heritage village at Pilikula.
