New office of Bantwal Taluk Working Journalists’ Assn inaugurated

Bantwal, July 14, 2014:  Deputy Commissioner A.B.Ibrahim  inaugurated the new office of the Bantwal Taluk Working Journalists’ Association and the full-fledged Press Club at the old Taluk Panchayat office building at B.C.Road on July 13, Sunday.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said  the media contributes to the growth of the society in various ways.  He also spoke on the importance of Freedom of Press.

DK District in-charge Minister B Ramanatha Rai  was present as a chief guest. 

PB Harish Rai, President of DK District Working Journalists Association presided over the function.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, UT Khader, State Health Minister, B Nagaraj Shetty, former minister, Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguttu, progressive farmer.

Khader Shah, District Information Officer,  Vasanthi Chandappa, Bantwal TMC President, Srinivas Nayak, Secretary of DK District Working Journalists Association. Cyprian Miranda, Taluk Panchayat  Executive Officer, Malleswamy, Tahsildar, Maunesh Vishwakarma, President of Bantwal Taluk Working Journalists Association and other office bearers were present.
