Mangaluru, Aug 08, 2022: The night curfew clamped by the district administration   in the wake of the recent untoward incidents has been lifted and from August 8, Monday all shops and commercial establishments can function as usual.

However, prohibitory orders under Section 144 will continue till August 14.

It may be recalled here that three murders in quick succession in the district had forced the administration to enforce night curfew to ensure peace and order.
