Mangalore, Apr 15: Nine deacons were ordained as priests, under the leadership of Bishop of Mangalore, Dr Aloysius Paul D’souza at Milagres Church on April 15.

Nine deacons ordained as priests

In a grand function took place today morning, bishop ordained the nine deacons as priests. He administered the religious oath.

Ivan D’Souza, Paul Prakash D’Souza, Roshan D’Souza, Sunil George D’Souza, Robert D’Souza, Stany Fernandes, Anil Roshan D’Souza, John Baptist Moras and Naveen Pinto were the newly ordained priests.

On the occasion, Vicar of Milagres parish Fr Walter D’Mello and other priests present.
