Mangaluru, Nov 13, 2022: On occasion of world diabetes day, ’Walkathon 2022’ was organized by Nitte Day Care Clinic on 13 th November 2022 at 7.30 am. The walkathon started from Nitte Day Care Clinic via: Kankanady circle, Bendoorwell, collectors Gate, SCS Hospital and back to Nitte Day Care Clinic.

 

 

 

 

 

This Nitte Walkathon was Flaged-Off by Mr.Dinesh, Deputy commissioner  of police(crime), Mangalore city, Mr.P.A.Hegde, Assistant Commissioner of police, Mangalore city, Ms. Geetha Kulakarni, ACP Traffic division, Mangalore city, Prof. Dr.M.Shatharam shetty, Pro-chancellor(NITTE DU), Prof.Dr.B.Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor(NITTE DU).

Dr.Vikram Shetty, HOD Orthopaedics Kshema, Dr. Surendra Rao, HOD General Medicine Kshema, Dr. SriKrishna V Acharya, Endocrinology Kshema were present.

Faculty, staff, students of Nitte Deemed to be University including public more than 500 people participated in Nitte walkathon 2022, It Was organized  to create awareness about Diabetes and inculcate healthy life style.

Nitte Day Care Clinic has organized Health Package at subsidized price & Diabetic friendly food exhibition of 25 recipes is organized in association with Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services on 13th November and 14th November from 8am -8pm on occasion of World Diabetes Day. Today 25 patient has availed package service.
