Notorious rowdy sheeter Dawood arrested

Mangaluru, November 23, 2024: Notorious rowdy sheeter Dawood (43) has been arrested by a team of CCB police on November 22, Friday evening.
A resident of Dharmanagar in Ullal, he was arrested following a tip off that he was planning to attack a rival gang near the Talapady-Devipura road.
When the team led by PSI Narendra tried to arrest Dawood, he made a bid to escape by attacking the cops. Narendra and other personnel were injured but they managed to arrest the accused and later entrusted him to the custody of Ullal Police.
Dawood was wanted in murder and other criminal cases in Ullal, Mangaluru South and Bajpe police station limits.
