Official jersey of GPL tourney released; 5th edition of GPL Utsav from Feb 26

Mangaluru, Feb 24, 2021: The Gowd Saraswath Brahmin Premier League also known as GPL is scheduled to begin at the Sahyadri  College Grounds on February 26.  This tournament is being held as part of the 5th Edition of Puzzolana GPL Utsav  to be held on February 26, 27 and 28.

The official jersey for the GPL tourney was released at a function held at the Bhuvanendra  Auditorium of Canara  School, Dongerkeri in the presence of leaders of all cricket teams  participating in the event.

Organisers Mangalpady Naresh Shenoy, Chethan Kamath, Naresh Prabhu and others released the jersey.

GPL is India’s biggest community based cricket premier league. The title sponsor for this mega event is Puzzolana Group while  Associate sponsors are Jio Mart.com, Abharan Jewellers, Jayalakshmi Silks, Aruna Masala and V Bazaar.

 Twelve Teams with GSB participants from across the country  will be participating in this mega event.

Apart from cricket, the 5th edition of GPL  will also feature various other events and competitions for all age groups. The GPL Utsav will have competitions like Mehndi, mimicry, flower garland making, jewellery making, goodudeepa making, rangoli, drawing, fruit vegetable carving, cooking, toran, clay moulding.

 A unique competition called ‘Wealth out of Waste’ will also be held during the three day event.
