One dead, three injured as car hits divider near Kolya

Mangaluru, Jan 30, 2023: One person lost his life while three others including two women sustained injuries when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a divider on the National Highway 66 near Kolya-Adka on January 29, Sunday night.

The deceased is Abdul Rifai (24) from Kunjathur in Udyavar. While Bashara Ahmed (22) of Kasargod sustained serious injuries,  Revathi and Fathima, residents of Kannur suffered minor injuries.

All the passengers in the car were friends. Bashara who was driving the car lost control over the vehicle  resulting in it hitting the  divider and electric pole.

One of the injured Fathima is a medical student.
