Over 500 athletes take part in first ever Mangaluru Triathlon

Mangaluru, April 10, 2023: Over 500 athletes took part in the first ever Mangaluru Triathlon organised by Tapasya Foundation Charitable Trust and IDFC First Bank on April 9, Sunday. The enthusiasts participated in swimming, running and cycling as part of the Triathlon. Miss India Universe Divita Rai, ace shuttler Chirag Shetty were the star attractions of the event.
People who had gathered on either sides of the road from Tannirbavi to Mudipu cheered the athletes all along. A 40-member contingent of the Indian Navy was also part of the event.
The Triathlon was organised to support the Tapasya Foundation Palliative Care Centre for terminally ill cancer patients and Child Cancer Care Facility at Mudipu.
The event was organised in association with Mangalore Surfers Club, Mangalore Runners Club, We R Cycling Club and Lions International District 317D.
