Panjimogaru double murder case : Victim’s brother attacked

Mangalore, Aug 31, 2013: Mohammad Haneef (28) the brother of Razia, one of the victims of the Panjimogaru double murder case, has been reportedly assaulted by a group on August 30, Friday.

 

It may be recalled here that Haneef had recently  expressed suspicion  over the involvement of his brother-in-law in the case of the murder of his sister Razia and her little daughter Zuha Fathima at their house at Panjimogaru in 2011.

It is learnt, the incident took place when Haneef was on way home from the mosque after the Friday  prayers. Sources said the assailants questioned him for demanding a CBI probe into the incident.

The complaint at Kavoor  police station by Haneef has named  Razia’s husband Hameed, his brother Mayyadi, Abdul Sattar, Abdul Rahiman and others  as the accused
