Petitioner Alleges Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Misled Karnataka High Court in MUDA Case

Mangalore Today News Network

Mysuru, Aug 22, 2024: Snehamayi Krishna, one of the petitioners in the MUDA case, accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of misleading the Karnataka High Court. Krishna claimed Siddaramaiah concealed information in his writ petition, which he said amounts to contempt of court. He intends to bring this to the court’s attention on August 29, when Siddaramaiah’s petition will be heard.

Krishna alleged that Siddaramaiah was aware of his wife Parvathi’s letter to MUDA, but deliberately omitted the second page of the letter in the 713-page petition. He claimed this omission, with the second page tampered with a whitener, concealed critical information.

Siddaramaiah had earlier sought relief from the High Court to stay the Governor’s order for an investigation, with the court instructing the lower court to withhold any orders until August 29.
