Pillion rider killed as bike falls into ditch

Mangaluru, Oct 22, 2023: A tragic accident occurred on Saturday, October 21, at Niddel Cross, situated between Nanthoor and Padil, resulting in the unfortunate loss of a 21-year-old individual. The victim, identified as Keerthik and a resident of Farangipete, sustained severe injuries when the motorcycle on which he was a passenger veered into a roadside ditch.
According to reports, the motorcycle’s rider lost control of the two-wheeler due to reckless driving. Keerthik, who was unconscious following the accident, was quickly transported to a hospital. Tragically, doctors at the hospital pronounced him deceased.
