Police protection for Mangalore-Kasargod KSRTC buses

Kasargod, Sep 14, 2013: The KSRTC buses plying between Mangalore and Kasargod are provided police protection in the backdrop of the several cases of stoning reported in the past few days.
As many as nine buses have been damaged and several passengers injured in stoning incidents particularly during night time.
Four to five KSRTC buses will move together and will be escorted by a police vehicle right from Kasargod, Manjeshwar and Kumble.
The protection is provided till Talapady border.
There have been no arrests so far in connection with the stoning.
