Priyank Kharge hands over Rs 1 lakh to family of cop who succumbed to heart attack

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2023: MLA and KPCC Campaign Committee President Priyank Kharge on January 20, Friday handed over a cheque for Rs 1 lakh provided by former MLA B A Moidin Bava, to the family of Police Constable Hanumantha who succumbed to heart attack while on duty.
Hanumantha of Bagalkot origin was attached to the Kavoor police station and resided at the Police Quarters at Panambur.
Moidin Bava, Suratkal Block Congress President Umesh Dandakeri, Surendra Kambali, former deputy mayor Basheer Baikampady and others were present.
Rs one lakh to Jaleel family : Priyank Kharge also visited the residence of Jaleel, a trader of Suratkal who was recently hacked to death in front of his shop.
A cheque for Rs one lakh donated by Bava was handed over to the family of Jaleel.
