Pushed by husband during quarrel, critically injured woman succumbs in hospital

Vittal, December 13, 2024: A woman who was critically injured after her husband pushed her in a fit of rage during an altercation between the two has died in the hospital.
The deceased is Leela (45) of Devinagar in Punacha near Vittal. Locals revealed that Leela’s husband Sanjeeva used to frequently engage in a quarrel in a drunken stupor and in one such instance had pushed her recently.
Leela was immediately rushed to the Puttur Government Hospital by neighbours. She was then admitted to Wenlock for higher treatment. However, she succumbed on Thursday morning.
