Puttur: District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundurao launches Gruha Jyothi scheme

Puttur, Aug 12, 2023: DK District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dinesh Gundurao launched the Gruha Jyothi Scheme of the state government at the Puttur Town Hall on August 11, Friday. This was the district level event to launch the scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister the state government has reaffirmed its commitment to implement its five guarantees through systematic implementation.

He said there were plans to convert the Coastal Development Authority into a board and include more taluks under its purview with additional grants.

Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai presided over the function. MESCOM Managing Director D Padmavathi, said 97% people in the district have registered for Griha Jyothi.

Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan, ZP CEO Dr Anand K, ASP Dharmappa, Puttur Assistant Commissioner Girish Nandan, MESCOM Chief Engineer Pushpa S A and others were present.
