Puttur : Miscreants deface statue of Mahatma Gandhi

Puttur, Jul 02, 2021: Unidentified miscreants have defaced the statue of Mahatma Gandhi located near the KSRTC bus stand in the town.

The miscreants have removed the spectacles of the statue and have also  placed a T-shirt along with spectacles on the head portion of the statue.

Puttur DySP Gana P Kumar and local police station inspector Gopal Naik   visited the spot  and took note of the act of the miscreants after the Gandhikatte Samithi brought the same to their notice.
