Rain brings reprieve in Dakshina Kannada; hailstorm in Kakkinje

Mangaluru, March 13, 2025: Heavy rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds in various parts of Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday night has brought much needed reprieve from the scorching heat. Meanwhile, Kakkinje in Belthangady taluk witnessed hailstorm.
Mangaluru, Puttur, Uppinangady, Subrahmanya, Kadaba and other places too received heavy rains.
