Mangaluru, June 28, 2024: Raj B. Shetty, renowned for his unique experiments and performances in Kannada cinema industry, has given a big update about his new movie. Notably, the team from his debut directorial film Ondu Motteya Kathe and the hit movie Garuda Gamana has reunited for this project.

Just yesterday, Raj hinted about the new movie during a live on his Instagram account. Today, he surprised his fans by sharing the first look poster of the film on his official Instagram account.

The intriguing title of the movie has already caught attention, and it’s named Roopanthara. The team has revealed that this film, themed around "Metamorphosis’’ which means transformation.

Title Reveal Poster Sparks Curiosity

Mithilesh Edavalath has written the story for Roopanthara and has also directed the film. Raj B. Shetty has translated the screenplay and dialogues from Malayalam to Kannada. The film is produced by Suhaan Prasad and Parth Jani, with Shabarish Kabbinale as the executive producer. Popular music director Mithun Mukundan has composed the music for the film. Although Mithilesh hails from Kerala, he pursued higher education in Bengaluru and has worked as an associate director in a couple of Malayalam films. The title reveal poster of Roopanthara has already generated a lot of excitement.

Raj B. Shetty in a Unique Role:

Recently, Raj Shetty appeared in a negative role alongside Mollywood megastar Mammootty in the film Turbo. In Roopanthara, he will shine in the role of a goon from a slum background. Raj had also portrayed a rugged goon look in the film Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana.

Actress Shwetha Srinivas plays the female lead role. The film also stars Jaishankar, who gained recognition for directing the short film Uchavva in the anthology Katha Sangama, along with Bharat G.B., Muralidhar C.K., Somanna Bolegav, Lekha, Hanumakka, Anjan Bharadwaj, and others. The shooting and technical work of the film are completed, and it is set to release soon, according to a team member. Each of Raj B.
