Rajyotsava awardee B G Mohandas passes away

Byndoor, Aug 31, 2020:    Rajyotsava Awardee of the year 2019, noted social worker and NRI B G Mohandas of Byndoor  passed away at Manipal Hospital on August 31, Monday. He was  ailing since some time and is survived by his wife, a son and daughter.

Mohandas  who had   shifted base to the Gulf in the 1980s   had worked  as a Chief Pharmacist and country manager at MNC. He had also played an instrumental role in strengthening the organisation of  Kannadigas in Gulf and had   taken the initiative in forming the Karnataka Sangha.
