Udupi, Jan 17, 2024: “Even I have donated for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Will visit it one day or the other, Ram Mandir belongs to the 140 crore Indians,” said State Minister for Women and Child Development and Udupi District in-charge Minister.
Speaking to reporters here on January 17, Wednesday, she said she would not comment on the party stance on the issue.
On the controversial remarks made against the CM by MP Ananth Kumar Hegde, the minister said Ananth Kumar appears only when elections near. “If he thinks such statements would help him politically, then it would be his childishness,” she said.
She said she is participating in the Paryaya of Udupi for the first time along with her family and added the government has heeded to all requests related to Paryaya.
