Ramakrishna Mission to launch 3rd phase of Swachh Bharath tomorrow

Mangaluru, Oct 1,2016 : Swami Jithakamanandaji, Head of the Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru has informed that the third phase of the Swachh Bharath Abhiyan will be launched on Gandhi Jayanthi Day on October 2, Sunday in the presence of a host of dignitaries including N Vinay Hegde, Chancellor of Nitte University, BHV Prasad, General Manager of MRPL, Capt Ganesh Karnik, MLC and others.

Swami Ekagamyanandaji, Co-Convenor of Swachch Bharath Abhiyan of Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, said as many as 75 Municipal workers of Mangaluru will be felicitated on this occasion for their contribution towards the cleanliness of the city.

Cleaning equipment towards the Abhiyan will be distributed to the team leaders while a seminar on ’ Swachh Manas for Swachh Bharath’ will also be organised. The seminar will be inaugurated by Swami Bodhasaranandaji, Assistant Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Mutt while Dr B M Hegde and Air Vice Marshal Ramesh Karnik will be the resource persons.

As many as 40 teams having 50 to 100 members will be part of this third phase of Swachh Bharath drive. Justice K S Hegde Foundation and MRPL will be supporting the cause, informed Swami Ekagamyanandaji.

The Swacch Bharh taken up by the Ramakrishna Mission is wonderful. They have actively participated in the mission in other two phases well. The educational institutions too have adopted it to make the students aware of it
