Residential quarters ready for Kundapur Police personnel

Kundapur, Dec 22, 2015 : The First Phase of the police quarters project undertaken on either sides of the Ferry Road in the town has been inaugurated on December 21, Monday. As of now work on three blocks have been completed. If one block is earmarked for the officers, the remaining buildings will accommodate 36 police personnel on the basis of their seniority.

SP Annamalai has also informed that the work on the second phase was currently underway and would be completed by March next year. The project provides for all modern amenities including solar water heaters, parking facility as well as modern kitchen.

He said the construction of the Police quarters would go a long way in solving the accommodation problem of the police personnel who are staying in different places.

Manjunath Shetty, DySP, Nasir Hussain, Inspector, Sudhir Kumar Shetty of Manjeshwar Construction Company, the contractors of the project and others were present.
