Mangaluru, September 26, 2024: Ronald Gomes was unanimously elected as President of Catholic Association of South Kanara (CASK) during the 111th Annual General Body Meeting of CASK today at Bendur Church Hall, Mangaluru.


Ronald GomesHe is the Founder & Managing Director of M/s Sunray Products Pvt. Ltd., Mangaluru - a renowned Solar on-grid power projects company for over 27 years spread across South India including O&M projects of Cochin International Airport and world’s largest floating solar power project at Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh. He is also the  former President of Rachana – Catholic Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mangaluru and the past Lions District Governor of Dist. 317D comprising of DK, Hassan Kodagu and Chikmagaluru. 


Marjorie Texeira and Dr Rohan Monis have elected as Vice Presidents. Peter Pinto is the new Secretary, Joint Secretary Titus Noronha and Treasurer Ronald Mendonca.

Governing Council Members are Ian Lobo, Irwin Lobo, Darryl Lasrado, Jude Rego, Dr Anil Gomes, Marcel Monteiro, Keith D’Souza and Sapna Noronha.

Earlier, 111th AGBM of CASK was held. President Capt. Vincent Pais conducted the proceedings. Secretary Dr Anand Pereira presented minutes of the previous AGM. Treasurer Norbert Shenoy presented financial reports. Election Officer Walter D’Souza conducted election for the new office bearers. After taking charge, the new President Ronald Gomes presented his vision for the betterment of CASK and community. Secretary Peter Pinto proposed vote of thanks.
