SCDCC Bank Honored with Atal Pension Yojana and Apex Bank Awards

Mangaluru, Sept 15, 2024: The Karnataka Cooperative Apex Bank awarded the Atal Pension Yojana and Apex Bank Awards to the South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank during its annual general meeting in Bengaluru on September 13.

SCDCC Bank President M.N. Rajendra Kumar and CEO K. Gopalakrishna Bhat accepted the awards from Apex Bank President Belli Prakash, according to a press release. The bank, which began offering the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) in January 2019, has enrolled 10,717 beneficiaries, placing it first among District Central Cooperative banks in the state.

The bank received an ’A’ grade in the audit, demonstrating overall growth across all sectors, and was selected for the Apex Bank Award for 2022-23. This marks the 22nd consecutive year that SCDCC Bank has received this honor.

With a history spanning 110 years and a network of 113 branches, SCDCC Bank offers core banking and other advanced facilities.
