Mangaluru, Sept 8, 2019: The next move of Sasikanth Senthil who quit the post of Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada as well as the civil services citing personal reasons, is not known.
Though there were reports that he would leave for Chennai after tendering resgnation he was in Mangaluru on Saturday and left his residence in a private car. He was available for contact to some media on Saturday and even expressed his desire to meet media persons over tea. In the meantime, several leaders have urged him to withdraw his resignation
The government has not yet accepted his resignation. As per rules, there is 15 days time to accept the same. The state government circular on transfer of IAS officials on Friday has mentioned that Senthil has been transferred.
