School vehicle rams into electric pole; driver injured

Kundapur, September 20, 2024: The driver of a school vehicle sustained serious injuries after the vehicle rammed into an electric pole near Thekkatte bus stand on Thursday morning.
The vehicle belonged to the school section of Janatha PU College of Hemmady. Overspeeding by the driver is said to be the cause of the accident. The driver of the speeding bus tried to avert collision with a bike and in the process lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap. A hi-mast pole was damaged in the mishap. There were no children in the vehicle when the mishap took place.
