Schools re-open across district; students get warm reception

Mangaluru, May 31, 2023: Schools have reopened for the academic year 2023-24 in Dakshina Kannada district on May 31, Wednesday. Children were seen arriving at their schools with a broad smile on their faces as their teachers affectionately welcomed them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many schools were decked up for the re-opening and kids too enjoyed the decorations. Uniforms and text books have already been supplied to be distributed to the students.

According to one estimate there are over three lakh students in the 1881 government, private and aided schools of Dakshina Kannada district.
