Mangaluru, July 20, 2020: Heavy rains in the coastal region in the past few days has intensified the problem of sea erosion in Uchila and Someshwara near Ullal. In Uchila a road has been partially damaged due to the sea erosion causing panic among residents of the locality.
Several houses in the vicinity are also in danger. A delegation of officials led by Someshwar TMC Commissioner Vani Alva visited the place on Monday and took stock of the situation.
