Security arrangements for upcoming polls: 4 companies of CRPF arrive in DK

Mangaluru, April 05, 2023: Four companies of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have arrived in Dakshina Kannada in view of the upcoming Assembly elections and to maintain law and order, informed SP Vikram Amathe.

One CRPF company each has been deployed in Puttur, Belthangady, Bantwal and Sullia assembly constituency units. Few more CRPF companies will arrive in the days to come, he added.

The CRPF personnel would be  deputed at checkposts, strong room security and other election related work.
