Mangaluru, Dec 21, 2014: State Minister for Health and Family Welfare UT Khader inaugurated a sensitization programme for staff nurses at the RAPCC Hall of Wenlock Hospital on December 21, Sunday. The programme was organised by the Hospital with the co-operation of Innerwheel Club of Mangalore North.
In his address, Khader spoke on the role played by nurses in ensuring the well-being of the patients by taking good care of them.
Stanley David, Founder CEO of SD & Associates and the resource person of the workshop described nurses as healers. He also exhorted the nurses to uphold the dignity of their profession.
Dr Rajeshwari, District Surgeon and Superintendent of Wenlock Hospital, Preethi R, Trainer of SD& Associates, Nalini Kini, President of Innerwheel Club of Mangalore North and others were present.
The participant nurses were imparted knowledge and training in soft skills on the right way to deal with patients and their families.
